Posted by heypaul on Fri May 18 21:45:08 2018 It was Alexis de Tokenville who visited the U.S. in 1831 and carefully studied the subway restrooms in New York and Philadelphia. He observed that the squalid conditions in the restrooms (lack of hot water, lack of 3 ply toilet tissue and hot towels and lack of antibiotic soap) spoke volumes about the decadence of the American people. |
