I have foggy memories of it. You couldn't air condition it easily, there were few places to sit, and that huge taxi way on the south side of 7th Avenue would have been rendered useless after 9/11/01. It had become an ugly brown building that needed a serious refurbishment and upgrade. Nobody foresaw commuter and intercity rail ridership growing like it did in the early 1960's. |
