On NJT, for route 605 in the Princeton area, first they decide they're going to put out only 2 buses, then calculate the end-end running time, and create a schedule. That's why it runs 75 minute intervals. Every route is different, which is why clockface schedules are out the window and connections are hit and miss, work only by coincidence. It's an amateur operation, clueless as to how much business they lose by lack of connections. |
