So inbound trains will cost more than the corresponding outbound trains? That's kind of pointless, since almost all riders make round trips. The obvious comparison is with tolls for cars and other vehicles being charged only inbound, but that was to reduce toll booth delays. I guess it symbolically sends a message that entering the city has costs. But the actual costs of the tunnel would be the same either way.
