Even though many NYCTS cars have lasted longer like the Hi- Vs which made it past 50 years and the R-32s which are doing likewise, the powers that be determined that the ideal maximum life span would be 35 years even if it couldn’t be accomplished so they based their scrapping schedule on that. |
