If you have the image or access to it, could you post it please? I don't remember if the subchat post said Astoria line, or if that was the assumption I came to myself after examining it. I certainly will accept your judgement that it more likely was either Jerome or WHPlns Rd. els - You are from and grew up in the city, and ceertainly have ridden both those lines much more than I throughout all these years, and yes, would be very well aquainted with the style of the background buildings in the neighborhood.
