There were a number of service patterns. One controversial one was from Broadway Ferry to Fulton Ferry or Park Row via the Loop, running during off hours. The reason it was controversial was because the BRT used it as an excuse to run only shuttles to Cypress Hills. IIRC the Public Service Commission put an end to that.

The Loop (from 1906) was the way Broadway-Brooklyn trains reached Canarsie. And the loop was in service much longer than 1904, until the current configuration of Broadway Junction 1919/1920 (but not the 14th Street Line part, obviously).
