We do not design subways to accommodate bus routes.We design bus routes to accommodate subways. When the Hilside line was builded there was nothing there. They builded buildings after the subway went in. The end of the subway marks the end of high density housing. Can we extend the subway, sure, easiest thing in the world (if you have money) But now that those areas are builded up it would be dificult to install high density housing, ergo Better served by bus or better yet light rail or feeder beese. |
