The Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven has one preserved SIRT car that they are trying to restore. I wish I could remember the car number.

#388 (SLTM)

The control trailer that was the gift shop at TMNY IIRC was #501.

#501 suffered a small fire when at NYCTA's 36th St yard. The TMNY acquired it and fixed it up nicely. It was painted inside and out and served as their first gift shop, selling ride tickets too. One night, vandals broke in the car, set it on fire and was totally destroyed. IIRC, Millens steel across the street scrapped the car. That was what I was told years ago.
