And are the SIRTOA R-44's still designated as ME-2's? All one hundred cars were built by Standard Steel. I have seen reliable references to these cars as ME-1, MU-1 and MUE-1. I use the ME-1 designation. Folks on this board have said that the original 400 series cars were designated as ME-2. I don't know if this was applied to the 300 series cars which were sent over in the late 80's. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
