I don't agree with everything Karl Palachuk says, but he's a very bright and thoughtful guy. If anyone thinks that automated subway trains are ridiculous, look at what he has to say about something even more complex. Here's the salient quote from the linked article:"The most obvious industry that will disappear is related to automated vehicles. I argue that the entire trucking industry will disappear within ten years. That's not just truck drivers who will be replaced by driver-less cars.
