I remember seeing the Normandie rolled over on its side in 1942. Now that was something to see. She laid on her side for a year before they were able to right her. They had hoped to convert her to a transport but the damaged caused by the fire was too great. She was scrapped about 1945-6. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
