The ironic thing is that the Princeton station is now creeping closer to its original Camden & Amboy location; the railroad used to run through Kingston and alongside the Delaware and Raritan Canal, and Princeton was a through station right over the border of the town (in Penn's Neck IINM). Not to mention that for much of the capital waste that NJT's been engaged in, it could have rebuilt the old C&A as a "local" branch for Trenton Locals. |
