There was actually a logic behind the lettering scheme that the IND developed and the so called MTA planners ruined it. I once mentioned a particular BMT service plan that ran pre Chrystie and one of the sched mgr trainees insisted that it never ran that way, despite the fact that I worked it so i know it was the way it happened. Those of you who are new to the hobby would be well advised to listen to those of us who have been around longer many of whom also have the hands on operating and in many cases managerial experience and knowledge of what happened and why! |
