I have said that in my office how anyone cannot tell the engineer from the conductor terms. They say "well we don't know - you know trains".I answer back, "OK, the conductor drives the train and the engineer punches tickets - how does that sound". These are 3rd grade vocabulary words, not railfan jargon. Some idiot from NBS News was comparing this to the Sully Sullenberg landing. One things has nothing to do with the other. Then FOX5's Kelly kept carrying on the trains should have seat belts. I suppose he thinks ail passengers would stay seated until the "conductor" turns off the "Fasten Seat Belt sign" after they arrive at a terminal. The privileged child has obviously never ridden a commuter train. |
