If photos on the NYC Subway site are of any indication, apparently R27/30/30A class cars began seeing some service on IND Division routes - namely, AA and CC - a few months prior to the first leg of the Chrystie Street connection opening, in summer 1967. Around that same time the R32/32A's also began appearing on the AA. |
