Interestingly, they could theoretically have both the IND and BMT using the BMT line between Cortlandt and Whitehall without exceeding the 30 TPH limit on any track by having a flat junction at the north end of Cortlandt St and having the IND Court St line branch off from the 2 levels of the Montague tunnel slightly north of the merge with the Nassau cut, but all this would depend on precise timing of the trains. |
