When I was joy riding the subways for a day in the 1960's, I walked that transfer from the 3 line to the L line. I guess I wasn't afraid of the neighborhood.i came up from Philadelphia and spent the day riding the NY subways. I remember riding the number 8 line, the cars bucked and scared me into thinking we were going to stall. We finally made it to the upper end. |
