sounds like these could be "barn finds" for railfans. Now, if we could only find an abandoned Composite somewhere in the midwest... or a Hedley Hi-V sold to someone instead of scraped, deep in someone's wooded "back 40."
- there is that D-Type section somewhere; upstate or Pennsylvania?

Saratoga & North Creek - I never heard of them, but there must be hundreds of these small defunct rr's with colorful histories.

Found a book at yardsale that dealt with all those tiny logging rr's deep in upstate NY. Good stuff.
