I agree.If you don't run batches of trains in 1 direction then the other, you can only manage 3 tph in each direction. If you run 4 trains one way, then 4 back out again, you can maybe manage 4 round trip trains in each 32 minute interval, which is 7.5 tph, but they are bunched. If you run in batches of 6, you can do 6 trains in 40 minutes, for 10 tph, but they are even more bunched. None of the options for single tube operation are at all satisfactory. |
