It would require 3 crews to keep this one train going back and forth, minimum. So it's not efficient in terms of moving passengers, or manpower. Not really good for the equipment either.The public will be very angry about this whole L train situation, period. Whatever the MTA decides to do. I don't know that negotiations between labor and management are going to become public knowledge, or tip the scales much. Hell, all I was thinking at first about the one-minute turns is, when are those poor guys going to pee? |
