Agreed, but this would be a perfect excuse to re-build the tracks at Atlantic Avenue and the structure is still there from the old days.Such would allow for more long-term operational flexibility and allow for such a Broadway-Brooklyn line to Canarsie to continue even after the (L) tunnel shut down ended while the (L) can better serve the much more heavily traveled portion of the line. |
