The wonderful thing about undercovers enforcing stupid rules like that is, anyone planning on committing a real crime (such as a mugging) can simply have an accomplice walk between cars first to flush them out.The second wonderful thing about enough stupid rules / laws is it inspires more rulebreaking among otherwise law abiding citizens. This increases the chance of them thinking critically about laws and ultimately reduces the power of "you shouldn't do it because it is against the law". Which IMO is a good thing. |
