To our detractors out there-Known and Unknown:We will just have to work that much harder to prove you wrong. We have done a lot in a relatively short time with limited resources and limited manpower.Since Robert and his cohorts obviously have it all figured out,Exactly who would pay for such a move even IF the museum were to relocate.Obviously none of those who speak against us have no clue whatsoever! Is our buddy ren going to foot the bill on this? He can't even run two nickels together much less talk smack about moving an entire museum!

Let's think about this for a moment:What sense would it make to move an entire museum when the NYTM hosts pretty much the same car types. If a move to Bush Terminal were to be a cure all for the supposed woes of the TMNY we would still be in the same predicament only with no trackage to call our own and no shop or storage space in which to store our collection. In short we are talking big bucks here of which some of you here obviously don't have.To be clear:The collection of subway cars will NOT ever return to the subway system-The NYTM does not want nor has any interest in what we do have for they have their own examples of the very same car types. No matter what some of you might think it will NOT happen. What would happen to the vintage Trolley's and the Whitcomb Diesel? Short answer:Most likely the junk pile. No,the TMNY and it's collection are not going anywhere. We are doing much better than most of you would believe and have made great strides over the last 15 months despite the negative comments made here.

Our former buddy ren is mistaken on several fronts as the museum has a long term lease for it's property from the city of Kingston. There is much more than meets the eye concerning this museum and I am proud of our progress thus far.The museum has turned a corner in my opinion and is moving forward at a pace not seen in years!

It is a shame that one person can stir up a hornet's nest spewing his version of events that transpired during his short time there but these are the facts: ren was dishonest about things and is looking for sympathy here.He got caught STEALING the keys to the museum; That along with some other misdeeds led to his removal from our volunteer group. We did not take this step lightly and put his fate before the entire group.Almost to a man they voted for his removal. He had no business having those keys in his possession as only the museum's board members are issued those keys.Ren states that the museum President issued him a set in order to lock up later, but he was not forthcoming with this information until certain keys were discovered missing later. When pressed about this matter ren was hesitant to reply that yes,he did indeed have the keys and would NOT return them until the museum President intervened to have the keys returned.Long story short, ren did eventually return the missing keys and he was removed as a volunteer a short time later. In short ren made us all look bad in the eyes of the museum as a whole and it was decided to terminate him as an active volunteer. It was him or us so he had to go since it was our group that brought him up there.Had he said Oops,my bad things might have gone a different way but what happened-Happened.Now ren did not want to go quietly, pestering the museum's president by phone and by e-mail asking to return. The answer was NO.Ren tried asking for his items that he DONATED to the museum be returned to which the answer was also no as they were considered a donation to the museum to begin with.Ren did threaten to expose our secrets and our supposed misdeeds and now here we are.So now that everything is out in the open for everyone to see I hope ren and his follower's are happy.I stand firm by my decision to remove him since it was clear that he could not be trusted. It was a democratic vote and it was a landslide! Now I don't like losing an active volunteer and ren DID contribute to the cause. His downfall was his odd ways combined with the key incident that led to his removal from the group. So he has his version of events, and I have mine. You dear reader can make your own decisions on these events as I have portrayed them.We are not going to allow this guy to stop what has now been started....
