Should be "from" school.My riding routine was to connect to and ride the IRT up to 137th Street, walk the 3 blocks to the "Castle" (as we M&Aers called it) at 135th & Convent in the morning. In the afternoon, we'd walk down the park to the IND 135th/St. Nicholas station, change at 125th for whatever express came first, then finish the ride depending on whether I had to go home, go to the Donnell Library or whatever else I had to do. The early Sixties were some glorious times on the subway. |
