The B of T had plans to recapture the Liberty Av el structure long before the R-10s were ordered. The subway infrastructure between ENY and Euclid (76 St?) and the partial ramps as far as the N/E of Grant was completed prior to US involvement in WWII just lacking track, signals and station finish so the R-10s came prepared for any eventuality. |
