GFS is actually a NOAA model, "Global Forecast System". You're probably thinking of the ecmwf models. I forget what weather channel called them a while ago, but those are the real ones. But the old Euro models are now incorporated into the GFS product.If you're actually into this stuff, you might want to hit up this site which has wads more.
