If you are headed to anywhere along the J or any of the QB trains, or to anywhere walking distance from 42nd st then yes, it's easy enough if you don't have more than 2 large bags. On top of the airtrain (or Q70 for LGA) + rail option, there's also NY Airporter bus service. But when you''ve got 3 large bags, or you're a family with a kid and you're trying to keep track of your bags, your kids bags, and your kid(s), you're going to choose a cab. I'll even throw you a bone and say if you want to avoid a taxi in that scenario, I'll say use a door to door ride share like Super Shuttle And how long do all of your suggested routes from CT take to get to the airport? If I have an option of driving for 1 hour vs 3 hours via mass transit, guess what most people are choosing. And for what it's worth, you really gotta check out CT Limo. They run bus service from Hartford along 91, 84, and 95 to LGA, EWR, and JFK. That was my bone to see if you knew your options but you came back with this outlandish roundabout ride to places out of my route. I already told you the route I took from Bed Stuy, and on top of your additional J route (which is a shlep but still feasible with a small bag), I can take the B15 bus a few blocks from my apartment. But if I've got 3 large bags, you really expect me to do any of that rather than just call a cab? Sorry, what you're selling is an incomplete package.
