We're not discussing the merits of busses vs. rail. Busses have their place to fill in the gaps where rail doesn't. Going from CT to JFK is not a gap, it's an entire trip on it's own, so busses don't even factor into the picture. And it's not public transit, so it also doesn't factor in. While in NYC, normal people ride busses, in CT, public transit busses are for people who are too poor to own a car, or old people who can't handle driving around. Anyone who is able drives their own car here in land of the suburban sprawl, unless one of our 2 going on 3 commuter rail lines is available. |
