But Belmont is sufficiently far away from Clark Jct that a flying junction can be more easily built than at Bway/Myrtle. In order to accomplish a flying junction at Bway/Myrt, the existing Myrtle structure above the Bway el would have to be demolished to make room for the new ramps and that would also necessitate relocation of the signal equipment that was installed on the upper level platform. Entirely too costly. |
