I remember when the WF R-33/36s were being delivered to the Flushing line back in 1963/64, some main line R-33s & R-17s were sent over to cover the service as the R-12 & 14 &15s were shipped out. They did not have "MAIN STREET" on the bonnet nor "Main Street Flushing" on the side roll sides. So what to do?? White signs with black lettering were stuck on where needed. |
