(I don't know why that can't be changed to where that starts and finishes one week earlier, especially now that it's moved to ESPN)Because there are other tournaments on the U.S. hard-court swing that have to be held before the Open. The tennis season is very tightly scheduled. The off-season is otherwise known as "December." |
