Partial funding for this could come from the development or redevelopment of land into TODs around train stations served by this. Jamaica, East New York, Winfield Jct, and Sunnyside all have land that could be used for TODs and the ongoing redevelopments of Newark and Downtown Brooklyn could be boosted even further by this.
