Completely agreed, especially as to your point of the hidden costs of driving which are conveniently excluded from discussions of user fees for transit and roads.We especially forget the costs of death and injuries from traffic. Nearly 30,000 people have been injured in traffic crashes in New York City this year. I wonder if even 1000 have been injured using the New York City Subway. |
