There was an Option in the Tunneling Contract to build a shell for a 10th Avenue Station on the 7 Line, but the Option was not exercised as the City felt it didn't have the money to pay for it. So there is no provision for a future station. However, as mentioned the track in that area is level, so it would be possible to try to do something in the future, but the level of difficulty in the way you would have to go about building such a Station let alone doing it around an operating subway line would probably make it cost and operationally prohibited. |
