Since the (M) already has different terminals on weekends I doubt that many would be confused, especially if posted signs made it CLEAR that the (M):

WEEKDAYS goes to 71st-Continental in Queens
WEEKENDS goes to 145th Street-8th Avenue in Manhattan.


Huh? The current weekend terminal is just a truncation of the existing service (the Q terminating at 57/7 on weekends and the M terminating at Myrtle/Broadway late nights are the same idea).

Sending it to a different route entirely is a completely different matter!
