They could run service, but there would be complications if cars couldn't be moved at least far enough into the tunnel to access the 11th St. Cut. They would need to cut back the platforms along the center track at 61st St. and Junction Blvd. so that B-division cars could be moved to and from Corona Yard (piloted by A-division cars with trip valves on the right side), and that would mean Flushing service would be local only for the duration, and until the platforms were rebuilt. Possibly install a connection between Corona Yard and the adjacent LIRR to move cars to/from Coney Island when necessary. Has such a connection really never existed?
