The recent discussion of the end of the Third Avenue El got me thinking: What remnants of the Manhattan El system still survive? Here is what I know of:

  1. A former substation on Division Street.
  2. The buildings on the southeast corner of 110th and Columbus are set back to make room for the el's curve there. The ground floor is not set back. It would be interesting if some cut-back el columns are used structurally there.
  3. The Gun Hill Road LL remnants
  4. The stub to the Polo Grounds spur
  5. The Polo Grounds spur tunnel
  6. The stub to the former Bergen Avenue cutoff, etc.

Any more?
