Rikers I think can be doable if you put enough barbed wire in select spots where anyone who would attempt to climb it to get to the subway would think VERY long and hard about doing so.The main purpose of this connection is that it would be the only such line that goes to The Bronx directly from a borough other than Manhattan. This line would also serve Jacobi Medical Center, which currently does not have any subway service. It also probably would be the easiest to build of ALL the extensions (especially if all elevated even though I have it going underground after Food Service Drive) and probably would have the least objections. |
