I don’t know the entire history, but there s a scale model in the transit museum of an express station in an open cut that is supposed to be of a proposed layout of the Kings Hwy station on the Sea Beach Line. Why it was never built that way is anybody’s guess but none of the original Bronx IRT lines had express stations on them either. |
