The extension of the Pitkin Av subway farther east was designed to coexist with the connection to the Fulton St el. I have mentioned this In many posts on this subject often enough that most of copy should familiar with it. The original specs called for existing BMT signaling to be used past 80 (Hudson) St interlocking and the connection to the LIRR ROW was to be made from an extended subway infrastructure in the vicinity of Aqueduct.. |
