I was very young, 3 & 1/2 in April or May 1954 but I remember a ferry from the west side across the Hudson to Hoboken(?).If it was 1954 would have been run by the Lackawanna Railroad, either from Christopher Street or Barclay Street. The Christopher Street run ended in 1955 but the Barclay Street boats lasted until 1967. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
