" the end side doors on the cars were at the very ends of the cars and were close enough to the platform edge to make boarding and alighting as safe as possible."- that's what I was trying to show, in my post with the picture of City Hall Station's platform - that b/p rupture generously helped to imbed. The railings on the platform were positioned to protect passengers from the wide gap. There were no railings at the platform positions where the end doors would be, when the train stopped. |
