Brighton Beach had Northbound departures in the morning and Southbound arrivals in the afternoon departing/arriving in OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS out/in of the station. Has that ever happened anywhere in the system before or after?Chambers Street on the BMT Centre Street Line had trains terminating from both directions. No. 10 arrived and departed on the center tracks while No. 1 and 3 trains terminated on the outside tracks. East 180th Street on the IRT White Plains Road Line on weekend evenings from about 8 PM to 12 midnight. No. 9 trains from Dyre Avenue reversed south of the station while No. 2 trains terminated on the middle tracks. (Early 60's ). There were probably a few other places as well. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
