Posted by nostalgia on Mon Mar 30 08:54:06 2015 MTA Service Status Montauk Branch Customers Delays Posted: 03/30/2015 8:13AM The 5:39AM train from Montauk due Long Island City at 8:44AM is operating 12 minutes late due to congestion caused by the derailment of a freight car west of Wyandanch Station. ********************************************************** Wyandanch isn't on the Montauk Branch. I could understand if the derailment was in the vicinity of Beth interlocking but it's not. The same message is posted for a train on the Port Jeff Branch. |
