I'm an elevated aficionado myself but don't you think that it's a tiny bit possible that part of the "resurrection" of these areas had to do with the lack of an el? There are lots of people who associate elevateds with undesirability (darker streets, increasing danger, etc.)Just throwing it out there. And I'm someone who would definitely have liked to see these els. |
