That did used to be the standard practice in such instances. But they haven't done it since the Brown M was abolished.Although I have no way of knowing this for sure, I think it's because they want the public to forget that a connection exists between the Nassau Street Line and the Montague Tunnel- they're afraid of a clamor to re-establish regular service there. My theory, anyway... |
