In New York State there is grade separation with all state highways (is there not.... least wise that is what the LION thunked..... Thus there are some very low narrow tunnels used by state highways where trucks cannot pass, but must go and find an alternative route.In CT, too I suppose, since I remember the contortions in the road between Torrington and Winsted.
