These were relatively high wage earners in professional jobs in a high cost of living area, so let's go with $5M. Add about $4M for the wrecked M-7 set, and the cost of cleanup, NTSB investigation, putting the third rail back together, etc, etc, and not even counting lost revenue and operational disruption, you're creeping up on $30M. |
