Red light cameras are purely a fund raising measure. They actually decrease the safety of an intersection, as people are likely to slam on their brakes to avoid getting ticketed instead of going through an orange light, and in the process are far more likely to get rear-ended.Red light cameras should not be allowed anywhere. |
